Zur Andau serves Bitburger beer, regional wines, house-made spirits and popular dishes.
Zur Andau is a Bitburger specialty pub and serves only beers from the Bitburger brewery group. Beers on tap are Bitburger Pils, Bitburger Radler, Benediktiner Helles, Köstritzer Kellerbier and naturally cloudy Benediktiner Weißbier. It also offers a large selection of popular alcohol-free beers, including Bitburger 0.0% Herb, Bitburger 0.0% Radler, Benediktiner Helles alkoholfrei and Benediktiner Weißbier alkoholfrei. The wines come from Rheinhessen and the Palatinate.
Food includes typical Mainz snacks such as Spundekäs with pretzels, Handkäs mit Musik (sour milk cheese with onions), Fleischwurst and Mettbrote (bread topped with seasoned raw minced pork). Other popular pub dishes include fries, Flammkuchen, soups, currywurst and schnitzel. The meat products come from Frankenberger, a well-known traditional butcher in Mainz. From Monday through Saturday, the pub shows every Bundesliga match and all Champions League, Europa League and Conference League matches involving German teams. It also shows every match involving the German national football team and a selection of major international matches. The pub is especially popular with supporters of local Bundesliga club Mainz 05 and shows all of the team's matches.
